Youth Education Programs Coordinator:

VGI seeks a creative, independent individual with leadership skills as well as gardening experience. An ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for youth empowerment and education. The programs that you will oversee include the YEP! Youth Education Program. This program encompasses the After School Garden/Cooking Clubs, Summer AgriCorp Camps, and Farm Field Trips.

This is a part-time position which would begin June 17th, 2024. The position is salaried at $20,000/year and includes access to our seasonal produce on the farm. General hours will be Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons with some weekend hours depending on various events and program activities.

Compost Assistant:

The compost assistant is responsible for ensuring that the current business composting contracts are fulfilled and that compost production on the farm is operating smoothly to provide for the soil needs of the 1.5 acre farm.

This is a part-time position, which would start immediately. Compensation is $15/hour at 12-15 hours a week. Compost pick-ups are 6 days a week (Mon-Sat), 2-3 hours per shift.

Operations Coordinator:

The Operations Intern supports the Executive Director in the operational duties in the office and around the farmstead. This entails but is not limited to, assisting with grant applications, tracking fundraising records, assists with marketing, social media content creation, etc.

This is a part-time position paying $15/hour at 20 hours per week. Potential to be a hybrid position. General office hours are 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
