The U-Pick Farm

Our 1.5-acre urban farm provides free, fresh food for anyone to harvest. The front half of the garden contains individually rented garden beds, but you are welcome to harvest any produce north of the pavilion, beginning at the orchard.

Want something but not sure how to harvest it? Feel free to ask a VGI employee for help! We’re always happy to show you the best harvesting methods so the plants continue producing for others.

Farm Stand (July - September)

Every Friday from 12–3 PM during the growing season, we harvest fresh produce from the farm and offer it free of charge. Donations are appreciated if you’re able to contribute, but never required.

Community Based Distribution

Beginning in 2026, our goal is to regularly distribute fresh food to community members who may face challenges accessing the farm. We plan to collaborate with local leaders, community spaces, and partner organizations to make this possible.
