Victory Garden Initiative Urban Farm.
The Farm.
This is a You-Pick Farm.
If you live in the area, especially in the Harambee neighborhood, this garden is for you. Pick what you would like, leave some for others. :)
We are a No-Till Farm.
Tilling the garden would increase runoff that has negative impacts on the environment and reduces the natural formation of surface organic matter. We ensure our farm is operating at the highest capacity and fostering longevity for our climate.

Hot Organic Compost
80-100 Tons of Compost Per Year.
Fresh produce collected 6 days/week year-round gives us the capacity to supply organic hot compost to throughout the garden and to the community.
Our Compost is a Carbon Sink.
Organic compost takes carbon out of the air and revitalizes its surroundings while also providing nitrogen-rich soil that can also nourish the community.
Balancing the Matter.
The goal temperature is to be 140 degrees to 160 degrees year-round with an intricate ratio between green matter, brown matter, and carbon.
